Jensen VX7020 2 DIN Multimedia Receiver, 6.2″ Touch Screen with Bluetooth & Built-in USB Port (Black/Black)

You’ll never run out of music or have to repeat the same playlist ever again! The VX7020 allows you to connect your smartphone, mp3 player, and more devices by way of the USB port, the 3.5mm audio jack, or Bluetooth. Users can recharge their devices with up to 1Amp of current when connecting through the USB port. A Bluetooth connection allows users to control Pandora, iHeartRadio, Spotify, and other apps to broadcast music, audiobooks, and podcasts. The VX7020 works with Blackberry, Android, and iPhone, and offers hands-free calling. The receiver also picks up FM, AM, and SXM satellite radio channels.

The slot CD/DVD player mounted above the screen is compatible with DVD + R / RW (Single and Dual Layer) and CD-R /RW Compatible Media Formats like mp3, wma, VCD, SVCD, Xvid, AVI, MPEG 1 and 2. Be aware that it comes with a preset region so DVDs from other areas of the world may not play.(Depending on the software version, it may be possible to override this and other Macrovision protection inside a hidden menu.) Normally the DVD player will not show a movie unless the parking brake is set, but there is a way to wire it to work around this limitation, too.

The touchscreen measures 6.2 inches high, so the receiver itself falls into the double-DIN size category. It displays movies in 16:9 format with WVGA resolution. It also shows turn-by-turn navigation using iGo’s GPS service. It comes with USA maps only, but more countries, spoken voice directions, and other updates are available online through the Naviextras website. Download to micro SD card and run the update as soon as possible after installing the system to avoid the “fatal error” problem some users have experienced.

If you happen to want the ability to mirror another screen onto your receiver, see the description of the VX7022 below.
